I used to ride the NYC subway to work most mornings and on one particular F train the conductor would give us her thought for the day. One particular day she wished us all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa or whatever else would bring joy and happiness to this time of the year to your and yours. After a few months she must have changed shifts or trains or jobs because I no longer heard her dulcet tones but I never forgot them either.
